Creating a Dormer Roof in RoofWright

For many years we've been asked to show a dormer roof with a conservatory design. Well, it's taken a while, but it's finally available (see below!).

To configure a dormer roof, it's really very easy. First, make sure you have RoofWright 7-1 Update 2 or later - you will have this shortly if you have a valid support contract - if not you can start one now!.

Then select "Order Details", and look in the roof options tab (see below)

Now simply tick the "Dormer Roof" box, and enter the approximate pitch of the house on which the dormer will sit, as shown below.

Changing the Roof Tiles

To adjust the appearance of the tiles, simply select the "Roof Glazing" tab in the order details, and choose a different roof tile type (You can import these from a photograph or the web using the "Change..." button.
