So What's So Different about FrameWright?

We've developed this from the customer's point of view, not that of your manufacturer. Our aim is to produce a clear, unambiguous quotation that allows the customer to be absolutely clear on what they're getting before they order, reducing the chance for disputes later on.

For example, for years the double glazing industry has produced window quotations using the “chevron” notation. Everyone in the industry knows that a chevron represents the way in which a door or window is hinged (with the arrow pointing towards the hinge). Except when it doesn’t (some suppliers choose to reverse the notation for reasons of their own).

However, when selling to the public, almost no customer understands this. Sometimes they will ask, but much of the time they will keep quiet as they don’t want to appear foolish. The outcome? You might lose the sale, or (possibly worse) you win the sale and then end up in a dispute with the customer!

Likewise, the convention that “wood-grain on white” represents a wood-grain finish on the outside and a white finish on the inside is obvious to us, but not always to the public.

To try to end these misunderstandings, FrameWright allows all standard casements can be designed and their order reports show a traditional “chevron quotation, and a “clear” 3D representation of each frame, showing both internal and external colours, handles and opening positions.

We're doing this for several reasons:-
